President of Brink Constructors
Walt Woodbury began his electrical career after graduation from the Bismarck State Lineman Program in 1998. He then served as a Lineman Apprentice with Mountain States Line Constructors and the IBEW working in multiple states throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Upon completion of his apprenticeship, Walt remained in the field performing powerline construction for several years and working for multiple contractors throughout the United States. He has performed all scopes of work including transmission, distribution, and substation construction as well as maintenance activities.
In 2010, alongside his wife Stephanie, Walt started a powerline construction company, Titan Electric Inc. based in Casper Wyoming. Using his depth of electrical and construction knowledge Walt grew Titan very rapidly and branched out into many different states. In 2015 Walt started 307 Power, a substation and civil construction company. Both Titan and 307 Power were acquired in 2018 by a large corporation and he remained as President until late 2021.
In 2022 Mr. Woodbury joined Quanta Services as Executive Vice President of Mears and was instrumental in growing Mears Electric in the Southeastern US. In 2023 he was named COO of Mears and held that position until being named President of Brink Constructors Inc. in March of 2024.
Walt and his wife Stephanie have 4 sons, three of which are currently in the lineman trade following the family footsteps. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, ranching, hunting, boating and flying airplanes.
Vice President of Brink Constructors
Brent Voorhees has spent the last two decades in the utility industry with increased responsibility as Director of Finance, Asset Manager and now Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his utility experience, he spent seven years working as a CPA for two CPA firms, one in Wyoming and the other in South Dakota. In his current role, Brent oversees accounting, human resources, information and technology, contracts and project controls.
Brent and his wife, Dawn, have three children, Cooper, Tyler and Brayden. He enjoys volunteering as a high school wrestling coach and supporting the feeder program, Westside Raider Wrestling Club as the club’s Treasurer and Coach.
Brent has a B.S. in accounting from the University of Wyoming and obtained his CPA license in 1998.
Vice President
Kris Gonzales is the Vice President of Operations working with the Transmission Line and Substation divisions providing leadership and technical expertise. Kris started with Brink as a groundman; completed a four year Apprenticeship Program and worked his way from journeyman lineman to foreman/superintendent/construction manager/ operations manager to Vice President of Operations at Brink. Kris uses his 20+ years of experience to maintain good working relationships with senior management, business development, procurement, estimating, engineering, project controls, vendors, customers and employees. Kris leads by example to ensure “Safety first, equipment second, quality production third and never leave a job site without knowing we would be welcomed back.”
