High Voltage Transmission Line Construction

Conductor installation is the first step to establishing a power structure and delivering energy to people and places in need. Electrical contractors are hired to build and connect networks of towers and transmission lines in order to conduct high-voltage power from its source (such as power stations or grids) across great distances to surrounding cities, towns, and rural communities.

Brink Services

Entrusting your high-voltage, long-distance commission to Brink ensures a smooth and efficient venture with safety at its core. For projects both large and small, Brink Constructors, Inc. provides the following services for a complete transmission line construction project:

  • Environmental Preparation & Clearing
  • Foundation Installation & Pole Erection
  • Tower Assembly
  • Stringing Conductor, Fiber Optic, Overhead Ground Wires

All clearing, assembly, and testing is performed by qualified technicians or quality subcontractors. In addition, all of our equipment is our own, allowing Brink to provide an all-inclusive service for the installation process. Brink Constructors, Inc. is trained and experienced with various conductor types including Single, and T2 configurations for transmission, as well as work with Distribution and Fiber Optic Wire.

Fiber Optic Line Construction

A fiber optic system is much more complex to connect than overhead ground wires, due in part to increasingly stringent installation standards. Therefore, it requires an elevated level of attention and expertise, a level that Brink Constructors, Inc. continually meets and exceeds. While overhead ground wires transmit high and low voltage power across a metal conductor, fiber optics transmit light. Why choose fiber optic lines in the first place? For speed, durability, longevity, easier maintenance, reduced hazards, and fulfillment of a wider range of community need.

Brink Services

Brink services are equipped and prepared to handle today’s stringent installation regulations and the complex connection process. Our team provides the following services to deliver a complete fiber optic line construction experience:

  • Transmitter & Receiver Installation
  • Line Construction
  • Connector & Splice Installation

Storm Damage Repair

Storm damage repair covers a wide spectrum of projects ranging from small jobs such as replacing a single wood pole damaged in a storm to big projects like replacing miles of transmission line taken out by tornadoes. We work closely with helicopter companies in order to access hard to reach areas as well as for special projects such as adding bird diverters to a line. Need insulators replaced on a steel tower? Brink crews have done that too. If you have a storm damage repair project in your area, Brink Constructors can handle it, big or small.
