Project consists of 32 miles of 345kV transmission line in South East New Mexico. The line is constructed using primarily steel mono-poles, with direct embedded tangents and pier foundations for angles and dead ends. The bundle 795 Drake conductor is supported using braced post insulators.
This project presents multiple challenges with digging in soft soils, sandy ROW conditions, and multiple pipelines to cross. The varying terrain and remoteness of the project adds additional challenges.
